For School Students
Register with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India after passing 10th standard. Based on the CA institute notification dated 13th October 2020, a student can appear in CA Foundation exams immediately after giving their 12th Standard examinations provided they register with ICAI on or before 31st Dec.
- Appear for class 12th examination.
- Appear for foundation examination in May/ November after passing class 12th Standard.
- Cut off date for Foundation: 31st Dec - May Exam.
- Cut off date for Foundation: 30th Jun - Nov Exam.
- Qualify Foundation Course
- Register with Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India for Intermediate group 1 and Group 2.
- Complete 8 months of study courses.
- Cut off date for Intermediate : 31st Aug - May Exam.
- Cut off date for Intermediate : 28th Feb - Nov Exam.
- Appear and Pass in either First group or both group of Intermediate course by securing 40% in individual subjects and 50% in aggeregate of each group.
- Completion of 4 weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) anytime after register and before start practical training.
- Register for 3 years practical training on passing either First group or both group of Intermediate course.
- Completion of 4 weeks Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) in last 2 years of practical training but before appearing for final examination.
- Appear for Final examination during Last six months of practical training.
- Complete practical training.
- Qualify both group of Final course by securing 40% in individual subjects and 50% in aggeregate of each group.

For Graduates/Post Graduates/Other Professional course students
ICAI allows the following persons to enter directly to its Intermediate Course.
- Commerce Graduates: with minimum of 55% of Marks.
- Other Graduates: with minimum of 60% of Marks.
- Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) / Company Secretary Intermediate students.
- Register with Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India for Intermediate group 1 and Group 2.
- Complete 9 months of study courses.
- Appear and Pass in either First group or both group of Intermediate course by securing 40% in individual subjects and 50% in aggeregate of each group.
- Completion of 4 weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) anytime after register and before start practical training.
- Register for 3 years practical training on passing either First group or both group of Intermediate course.
- Completion of 4 weeks Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) in last 2 years of practical training but before appearing for final examination.
- Appear for Final examination during Last six months of practical training.
- Complete Practical Training.
