Eligibility Criteria to Entroll for CS courses

For school Students

New Scheme

• The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced the CSEET 2021 registration date for May session.
• The registration of CSEET May 2021 will begin on December 16, 2020.
• The last date to register for CSEET May 2021 is April 15, 2021. .
• It should also be noted that the candidates who registered for the CSEET exam by December 15, 2020, will be eligible for the exam to be held on January 9, 2021.
• The Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is scheduled to be held on May 8, 2021.
• Qualify CSEET course.
• Duration of course is 8 Months.
• Register with Institute of Company secretaries of India for CS Exectuive programme group 1 and Group 2.
• Cut off dates : 28th Feb (both groups for Dec exam), 31st May (single groups for Dec exam), 31st Aug (both groups for Jun exam) & 30th Nov (single groups for Jun exam) for seeking registration.
• Examination will be conducted in June and Dec.
• Attend for compulsory computer training.
• Attend 7 Days student Induction programme within 6 month of registration and before appearing for Executive programme examination.
• Appear and Pass in either First group or both group of Intermediate course by securing 40% in individual subjects and 50% in aggeregate of each group..
• Student should undergo compulsory training for 15 Months after passing the executive programme or Professional programme.
• Qualify both group of Final course by securing 40% in individual subjects and 50% in aggeregate of each group.
• Become Member

Old Scheme

• Qualify Foundation course.
• Duration of course is 8 Months.
• Register with Institute of Company secretaries of India for CS Exectuive programme group 1 and Group 2.
• Cut off dates : 28th Feb, 31st May, 31st Aug & 30th Nov for seeking registration.
• Examination will be conducted in June and Dec.
• Attend for compulsory computer training.
• Attend 7 Days student Induction programme within 6 month of registration and before appearing for Executive programme examination.
• Appear and Pass in either First group or both group of Intermediate course by securing 40% in individual subjects and 50% in aggeregate of each group.
• Student should undergo compulsory training for 15 Months after passing the executive programme or Professional programme.
• Student should undergo compulsory training for 15 days after passing the executive programme or Professional programme.
• Qualify both group of Final course by securing 40% in individual subjects and 50% in aggeregate of each group.
• Become Member.

Exam Pattern

• CSEET Exams are conducted four times in a year January, May, July and November.
• The maximum duration is 2 hours.
• No Negative Marks.
• Viva-Voce on Presentation and Communication Skills of 15 Minutes.
• Four Examination for a day.
• Online Mode of Exam and MCQ type pattern.

Documents required

• Candidate’s photograph.
• Candidate’s signature.
• Aadhar card or passport or voter ID or pan card or driving license or ration card for identification proof.
• 10th class certificate as a proof of date of birth.
• 12th class certificate or mark sheet.
• Admit card or hall ticket for class 12th examination.

For Graduates/ Post Graduates/ Other Professional course students

ICSI allows the following persons to enter directly to its Intermediate Course.

• Commerce Graduates.
• Other Graduates.
• Students who have passed CPT (Common Proficiency Test) of ICAI.
• Students having degree or master's degree in Corporate Secretaryship or Commerce.
• Students who have passed Final examination of ICAI(COST) or ICAI.
• Register with Institute of Company secretaries of India for CS Exectuive programme group 1 and Group 2.
• Examination will be conducted in June and Dec.
• Duration of course is 9 Months for this course.
• Appear and Pass in either First group or both group of Intermediate course by securing 40% in individual subjects and 50% in aggeregate of each group.
• Qualify both group of Final course by securing 40% in individual subjects and 50% in aggeregate of each group.
• Become Member.
